Education is the key to our future and little is more rewarding than being able to have a guiding influence on a young person. I became a scientist because a single college professor ignited my interests in math and science. Everyone is different... we all learn in different ways. My teaching style is to connect with that key way a student likes to learn. I like to make the learning process enjoyable for the student by making the lessons relevant to the student's interests. I like to make learning fun, taking away the mysterious part that inhibits understanding.

I have taught a variety of students and feel with correct instruction, individual practice, and dedication all pupils can learn. I am understanding, willing to listen to concerns and repeat instruction if needed.
I have taught 6th - 12th grade math as well as college level math courses since 1999. Those courses have range from general math to calculus. I am currently earning a masters of science in education with emphasis in math.
