My style is to build confidence in the student by teaching positive thought processes, study skills, learning techniques, and a strong work ethic. I assist students to believe in themselves and provide them with tools that give them a perspective.....that they can succeed with well directed effort. I have not taught professionally, but I do have to help roommates and classmates with their work on a regular basis. I like to give them little tricks and tips for figuring out different kinds of problems. I don't like to just tell them how to do the problem. Instead I want them to figure it out on their own with my guidance and advice. I am patient but I also want the people I help to succeed.

As a graduate and undergraduate student I taught multiple courses in both landscape design and architectural construction. I've proven myself as a high performer in Academia due to a strong work ethic where I graduated magna cum laude from Notre Dame. I had to decline an offer to pursue a PhD at the University of Cambridge in the UK due to a lack of funds.
Every child has a different learning style and it's the duty of the teacher to discover that way and pursue the methods that will help that child.
