As a Graduate of Saginaw Valley State University, I have obtained a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry and Minors in Math and Biology. I have gained knowledge in most of the sub-sets on those subjects as well as High School or College entry level in most other academic subjects. My teaching style would be to find the student's primary learning style and converting the information he or she needs into a format that fits that learning style. Each subject would be made as visible or concrete as possible, so that the student could interact with the material on more than just a visual/conceptual level. Showing the student how the material can relate to real-life situations and opportunities would be a vital part of the instruction.
After high school, I recognized in myself a desire to work with elementary- and high school-aged children. I have always been at the top of my classes and was heading for an engineering school before I discovered a love for helping kids. A Little Bit About Me...

Growing up in a family that did not value an education, I saw education as a way to make a better life for my self than gangs, drugs, and violence. I am the only one in my family to graduate from high school, then college. I firmly believe that education makes a person better by pursuing it. I achieved an Associates in Science, then two Bachelors of Science degrees. In addition, I earned various certifications in Environmental Health due to my job experiences. I have tutored many science classes, math, algebra, history, archery, martial arts, outdoor survival techniques and wildlife studies.
