However, I’m disheartened by what I’ve witnessed in Mississippi’s public schools: that many children are failing to read at grade level. They are often “left behind.” My approach to teaching is driven by my belief that all children can learn if given the cognitive stimulation coupled with a nurturing, learning environment.
