If a student does not seem to comprehend using a certain teaching method then it is imperative to find a different way to present the course materials. I am a biology graduate from the University of Colorado. I am planning on getting my PhD in Molecular Bio-science. I love biology and all of the other subjects withing biology (ie. molecular biology, microbiology, genetics, ecology etc. ) I also enjoy math a lot my degree only required me to complete Calc. I but I went a head and completed all of the Calc. courses (Calc III). I have grade school level kids as well as high school level. I have conducted many study groups with college students. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style includes using the strengths of the interests of the child in teaching. To aid my child to read, I used his favorite card game (Yugioh) to aid him. I am hands on while teaching. I make sure that the learning is not boring. I will use card games to aid in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. I use a combination of words plus visuals to aid the learner. I will write down the formulas or work out a problem for the student so that the example can be followed on other problems. I use acronyms for teaching as well. I also use these aids to help with memorization of facts.
