I have been around teaching my entire life. My mother is a fourth grade teacher and I have loved learning how she likes to teach and how her teammates like to teach as well. I help her grade all the time and love getting to help the kids out when I am home from school. I started working in a church nursery when I was 11 and continued on until I left for college when I was 18. I have worked with age levels newborn-8th grade. My tutoring began while I was studying at Montana State University. My Junior year I enrolled in a class that was based around community service and my role was tutoring middle school aged children. The tutoring was in a small group setting and was on any subject the children needed help in but mainly in reading comprehension. After college, I attended Via Lingua where I became certified to teach ESL. It was here that my tutor experience expanded. I started teaching while in college; I worked as a Teaching Assistant when school was in session (teaching college students) and as a camp counselor at a French immersion camp in the summers.
