As a lifelong student and advocate of learning, I achieved a GPA of 3.75 upon returning to university classes as an older adult. I have many years of working in business, coaching and mentoring in several fields, which include accounting and business practices, such as customer service. While attending college, my happiest moments arrived with exceptional grades on research and theory papers. In the team environment, I am usually the "editor" since it comes so naturally.

I have been blessed with professors at the university level who understand the importance of one-on-one instruction. Through the "creativity" of thoughtful instructors I have seen myself grow and develop in ways that I hadn't thought possible. Every student learns differently, and once the instructor gets to know the student well enough and is able to tailor their lessons to the needs of the student, true learning happens.
