ASVAB is one of my top subjects! I started tutoring the ASVAB in 1996. Since then, I have helped recruits join all branches of the Armed forces. I choose to specialize in this field because of my familiarity with the military and the exam. Additionally, there is a demand for this service that needs to be filled by one with experience. My own ASVAB score were high enough to obtain any position in the Armed Forces. The position I chose required high scores in math, electronics, mechanical ability, vocabulary and reading. My choise was that of a Gunner's Mate, Missile, in the United States Navy. The ASVAB exam can be difficult to many. The questions are designed to be tricky and misleading. I can simplify this for you and show ways of determining the correct answers without pulling your hair out. Please reply to this ad if you are in need of better ASVAB scores because, I can get you there. In your reply, please let me know which branch and if there is a particular job you are seeking. I look forward to working with you and welcoming you to the ranks of the United States Armed Forces. Kenneth Roberts ASVAB SPECIALIST

I started tutoring the ASVAB in 1996. I had just been honorably discharged. A young friend of mine was having Difficulty with the exam but was motivated towards joining. She had tried a tutor that was attending college but It was not working. In less than eight hours contact time, l was able to get her scores high enough to work as a Operation Specialist for the Navy. I have sinced successfully helped recruits raise test scores starting as low as 14 (AFQT). Some of my students have earned scores high enough to be considered for officer programs.
My teaching style tends to be adaptive to the student 's needs. I understand that no two students learn the same. It is all about the the student doing well.

More About This Tutor...

I have four semesters of calculus, numerous chemistry, physics, engineering, computer science, statistics, finance, accounting, marketing, management, and liberal arts courses. I also have a temporary CT teaching certificate for secondary education math.
I believe any student is capable of learning any subject when they are taught in a gentle and patient manner. It is important to help the student gain confidence with the subject and to build his self-esteem. As the student increases his knowledge and problem-solving abilities his confidence and curiosity will also increase. Learning will become a lifetime pursuit.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a teacher and tutor to Housatonic Community College students for the past four years, I have helped a variety of students in the areas of Math and Science. The HCC student body is greatly varied in age and ability level. This variety of students has allowed me the experience to educate many different individuals with many different learning styles. I have worked as a math and science tutor for the HCC Academic Support Center, I currently teach two non-credit math courses for HCC Continuing Education, and I also currently tutor in remedial math classes. Aside from my teaching experience at HCC, I have tutored multiple high school and middle school students from many different parts of Fairfield County in the areas of math and science.
