I attended Clark University as a pre-med student and graduated with a BA in Biological Sciences. After graduation, I worked as a lab technician in a clinical immunology lab for 2 years prior to attending WPI for graduate school. While in grad school, I worked as a teaching assistant/tutor for 3 of the 4 years. When I was working as a post-doctoral fellow at UMASS Medical Center, I worked as a long-term substitute at Shrewsbury High School for AP Biology and picked up daily substitute teacher jobs here and there while tutoring for AP biology. As a teacher, I have taught high school biology and chemisty, with the majority of time teaching chemistry: level 1, 2 and AP.
