A Little Bit About Me...

Whenever possible, I use highlighters, colored pencils, hands-on manipulatives, and other items to help students learn.
I have been teaching elementary students since 1995 in 1st and 4th grades. I have taught all subject areas, especially language arts and math. I want to encourage students to think for themselves and to work through their learning in a way that makes sense to them. I have built several technical training centers from the ground up. I have coordinated with various vendors to supply materials to assure that the latest technology available was in place. I developed the appropriate training courses to educate technicians on the latest fiber optic equipment and how to test it to resolve service issues. I also developed and deployed training material to disseminate information on new data base applications in the telecommunication arena.
