Some children need visual simulation to really ingrain the principle that is trying to be understood. While other's learn by complete repetition. My teaching style is all relative to the child and the subject area being covered.

I believe all students have the ability to succeed. In my experience, the most important thing to remember is that all students learn differently, and sometimes what seems like an impossible task just needs to be presented differently for better understanding. Relating the material to situations and applications that are relevant and familiar to that particular student is a much more productive and beneficial way to have students retain information. I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Physical Education, which means I took several teaching classes. I have worked with youth for almost 10 years, working in schools, summer camps, and most recently as an director of (3) afterschool programs. I worked as a para-educator for 3 years in a school in central VT, helping tutor a 2nd grader and a 7th grader with their academics
