As a veteran educator with over 25 years of experience, my career began oversees in Guam teaching middle school English Language Arts and Reading. Since then, I have held a variety of teaching and administrative positions at the middle school and high school levels, including both English Language Arts and self-contained Special Education. During college, I changed my major several times, taking numerous classes for each one to determine what I wanted to do with my life. I experimented with Political Science for two years, in which I took classes in criminology, speech, and history. My next year of college was spent in English and Writing, where I focused on the obvious, as well as classes in psychology. The last few years of my college experience, where I ended up graduating with a Bachelor’s in Finance, were based around all of the science and math classes that Ohio Dominican University had to offer. I have also worked in multiple management positions where I was responsible for interviewing and training countless employees.
