A Little Bit About Me...

I do my best to adapt to how the student learns most efficiently. I also greatly encourage for the student to speak during tutoring sessions; rather than I do all the talking, I believe it is greatly beneficial for the student to partake in discussions and ask questions. I also do my best to incorporate hands-on activities with students. Unfortunately, I've found that many people find science to be intimidating and difficult. It is my goal to show students that science is, in fact, extremely interesting and fun. I wish to make it as engaging as possible to spark a students interest, captivate them, and make them curious about the scientific world.

I am very knowledgable in biology, general sciences, anatomy and physiology, as well as chemistry and math. Irecently substitute taught all grade levels (pre-K to 12 grade). I understand the curriculum and what is expected of the students. I also taught in an alternative classroom setting at Clemson Youth Learning Institute and understand there are many ways of learning.
