A Little Bit About Me...

I was an outstanding high school athlete and was awarded an athletic scholarship to play basketball and more importantly get an education. I earned a bachelors degree in Biology and went back and earned a degree in Secondary Education. I have successfully taught and coached at all levels for 20 years. I gained the overall experiences of dealing with students in and out of the classroom. I earned a masters of Science degree and tutored math and science professionally at the collegiate level. I enjoy giving back all the lessons that I have learned along the way.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a valued member of the ANA faculty and team I continually worked to lift the standards and proficiency of all the students that I taught both directly and indirectly to prepare them for the rigors of high school and college. As the English Department Chair I mentored and provided leadership to the staff I supervised as well as my fellow colleagues. I earned a BS in Education as well as a Certification in TESL. During my many years of teaching I have mentored and tutored students in English, History, ESL and Study Skills (which focused on time management, organization, note taking and test taking skills as well as building self-esteem.) I have been teaching at the Community College. I have students that range in age from 17 years old to 55 years old. I am enjoying teaching very much and would like to add to the teaching I do. I also taught for one year at the Tri City Christian Academy in Somersworth, NH. In that class I had students ranging in age from 11 years old to 18 years old. I have a BA in French from the University of Southern Maine. I am currently finishing my Master of Arts in Teaching French through the University of Maine. I love the language and feel that I pass on this love to my students.
