Experience throughout school, work and personal experience dealing with the mentally challenged and dyslexia. my best friend had a son who was dyslexic and also he had ADD and I got him to trust me in babysitting and I taught him various things. I taught him how to read and write he could not accomplish that on his own. He was 11 at the time and I think with kids you have to be creative to teach them and I am very creative. I also have an aunt who is mentally handicapped, and I love spending time with her she is a very giving person. They teach me and it is always a joy to work with them and give something back.

My comments on tutoring Microsoft Access : I've used Access since 1997. I think it's a GREAT tool to explain database design. I can also help explain why you should not use it outside an educational context.

There is a saying, "between the teacher and the taught becomes the teaching". After spending 16 years coaching, mentoring and training individuals in 2 fortune 500 companies I have returned to school at the University of Utah to complete by Bachelors in Mathematics. I received my BS in Electrical Engineering in December. I was one of two who graduated under the Honor's Program and maintained a 3.72 GPA. I've been tutoring math ever since my second semester in college and even while I was in high school. I've taken Calculus 3, differential equations, linear algebra, and discrete mathematics and received an A in each of them. I have a great deal of experience along with a sound background in mathematics.
When it comes to math, there is always more than one way to attack the problem at hand and each method appeals to different students.
