I have worked really hard in my life to acheive the success I am enjoying now. I am originally from India and as many of us are aware India is churning out advanced degree individuals at a lightening pace. The educational system I grew up in was a very hard and intense system compared to the US standards, I personally feel for America to be competetive the education system should improve to competetive levels with countries like India and China. You can preach all you want to children, but if you don't teach, there will be no learning. I believe that children will learn from someone they trust to talk to and from someone who they trust to give them the correct answers to their questions. I enjoy being that person. At the University at Buffalo I worked as a tutor for university students in subjects ranging from English and Spanish to biology and calculus. My BS is in biomedical sciences but I am also a proficient writer and have taken many English courses. I received an award for Outstanding English Student in high school. In addition, I worked for the WHIZard Academy for Mathematics and English in Penfield, NY as a chemistry tutor for a high school student in preparation for the regents exam.
