As A recent graduate from a Liberal Arts School, I found it easy to connect with teaching as my calling. I have always driven for high levels of excellence in and outside the classroom and work force. Having an English and Philosphy background, I find it easy to critically think and annotate extensively works of literature. And from that I find that my skills are up to par due to writing research papers and annotating other people's work. A Little Bit About Me...

I do not believe in standardized testing. Each child has the capability of learning, but not all children have the ability to take tests, for whatever reason. I tend to "test" by playing games, such as Jeopardy, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, etc...and have the questions be cumulative in nature, not just on the part that we are learning. This makes the kids have to learn and absorb the information, and I was told by some students that they like the way I do it. With football, it's basically the same way. I myself have learned to become more patient, more understanding, and a better listener. I have discovered that the people tend to underestimate kids, and if they really want to learn, they will.

I lived in Paris, France for 1.5 years then moved to Rome, Italy, again teaching English. My experiences were wonderful as I met people who really enjoyed learning English and needed it for work.
