I recently completed a two-month internship in TAS/OTS in EY this summer. From this experience, I gained valuable knowledge in the advisory area. I participated in a mobile internet App project for a startup technical company. The major goal for the project is to do financial forecasting for the company. In the group, my job was to help create a business plan report and translate from Chinese to English. I also worked on cash flow forecasting. While completing my teaching degree I taught for three years with troubled youth. Subjects were regents level and the subject was earth science and algebra or course I as it is called in NY. I have also taught Summer school at the Allen Center in South Kortright which can be a tough crowd to work with. During my undergraduate studies I tutored chemistry and biology. I also taught 8th grade physical science in Prince George Virgina.
In science and math the learner has to practice much like learning to play a musical instrument. It helps if you can bring real world applications into the classroom so it is meaningful to the students otherwise they feel like they are learning something just for the cause of learning.
