I am a certified teacher, with 25+ years experience as a special ed teacher, tutor, and homebound instructor for PK- grade 12. I have a B.S. Degree in Special Education K-12, an M.Ed. degree in Early Childhood Special Education, and a graduate certificate program qualifying me as an Assistive Technology Specialist. Since graduating with my Chemistry degree in 1997, I have volunteered off and on within the classroom, mentoring and tutoring children of all ages. I have several younger siblings and children of my own, so I have taken the many opportunities to go in and out of the classroom as a classroom parent, after school program teacher, guest speaker, and mentor and judge for the Future City competition (an annual engineering competition for middle school children).
