My comments on tutoring SAT - Math : I am currently tutoring SAT math students. The challenge for the SAT is how to best answer the questions. Whether working from the answers or looking for other tricks to solve the problem. I am certified as a math teacher in the state of Ohio.

I stated my career as a 7th and 8th grade math teacher in Oberlin Ohio. I taught two years at Beachwood High School, teaching algebra, geometry, physics and calculus. I went back to school to receive my masters in accounting. I work for a large public accounting firm and received by CPA license. From public accounting I started my internal audit career. I consulted many different companies in a variety of industries. I became a Certified Internal Auditor and became president of the local chapter. As an auditor I trained staff and also trained auditees in accounting matters. I learned how to solve problems and develop my common sense approach in developing solutions. I am the product of two trained teachers and I have always had the desire to share the knowledge that I have gained. I work with each student in the way that is best for their particular learning styles. I prefer a laid-back approach to learning, allowing students to understand at their own pace and make connection on their own. This does not mean, however, that I do not have high expectations for my students.
I hold two bachelor degrees, a BA in French Language and Literature and a BS in Microbiology. I also have a certificate in African Studies and a minor in Chemistry. Therefore, I have a very well-rounded background in both the sciences and the liberal arts. I am also certified to teach English as a foreign language. I have worked with many non-native English speakers to improve or perfect various aspects of the English languages, including speaking, reading, writing, and listening comprehension.
