I use a variety of teaching styles to involve students in the learning process: in traditional and computer-mediated classroom settings, and over the internet. The traditional teaching style (face-to-face interaction) was blended with technology (such as online discussions and assignments) for a boosted learning environment. I have a B.S. in biology. I have previously tutored for 3 years in college level biology and chemistry, and one year in biochemistry. I have also tutored in high school math, and have worked worked with students preparing for the SAT math section. I have previously worked with individuals and small groups and am comfortable with both.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have an Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor degree in Mathematics Education. I was a math tutor and math teaching assistant at Daemen College. I completed two student teaching placements in mathematics classrooms during my education. I also completed a volunteer experience at Seneca Babcock Preschool where I aided the teacher in helping the children learn colors and numbers. When I was a senior in high school, I taught Spanish to 2nd graders for a semester long project.
