I fundamentally believe anyone can learn. If a student isn’t grasping a concept, it just means I have to change my style of teaching. While at West Chester University, I had to take Statistics and Probability and that was because I was in the excelled Math program in high school. I had all Math courses up to and including Advanced Algebra. While attending Adirondack Community College, I had to take a Medical Math course that covered many conversions.
I love teaching and working with children and adults. I, myself have achieved a high level of excellence in education by completing two degrees and plan on completing my BS in Nursing. Growing up I dealt with dyslexia. I understand that each and every kid has a different learning style and not one style is better then the rest. My goal is to make learning as much fun as possible by pin-pointing the learning style of the student and finding ways to make learning more interesting.
