The mission of my teaching ministry is to help form competent, ethical and service oriented professionals. One of the most satisfying aspects of my teaching career has been helping students excel in quantitative reasoning and oral and written communication. I have been involved in tutoring many of my peers throughout high school and college. I find it very rewarding to help others succeed in their education. Many of my peers just needed a different way to have the information presented to them. They needed to be outside of the classroom. They needed to feel comfortable. I gave them all those things as well as encouragement. I try to find the best way to relate the given information to the student. Not everyone learns the same way. I will find what makes the most sense to the student and help them understand the given information. Throughout my education, I sometimes just wanted a different approach to the information. I would ask others their opionions and things all of a sudden were clear. That is what I want for my students.
