I have been working in a corporate environment for over 20 years, giving presentations, writing reports, and corresponding with all levels of management with success. I am proficient with all Microsoft Office applications. I have tutored and assisted my own step-sons in their High School projects over the last three years, and their grades were always exemplary.

I was more of an instructor than a teacher. I was a day camp counselor at Solway House parent/child resort in Saugerties N.Y. I instructed kids how to swim, dive, play various sports and gave dancing lessons to the guests. As a high school student I tutored 7th and 8th graders in an after school community center. I was one of a few staff at the University of Connecticut to instruct graduates and staff in the use of the various electronic facilites available to them.
I feel children are very self-aware and are very vulnerable to positive and negative feedback. Therefore, no matter how little progress is made, praise them. If no progerss is made or if an issue needs to re-addressed, praise them..."That was great, but let's try it this way!" As a graduate student at Bay Path College in Longmeadow, MA I have mastered the fields of finance, accounting, technical writing, and computer skills. As a paralegal, my attention to detail has allowed me to master all rules of grammar and language format. While attending undergraduate school in Colorado I tutored classmates in Spanish, Italian, and writing. I also volunteered as a law clerk and taught Greek Mythology and Sociology to middle and high-school students expelled from school and placed in the Boulder County Juvenile Justice Center.
