After completing my doctorate, I spent 4 years at the National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST) as a postdoctoral fellow. During my tenure at NIST I spent 2 years devoted to mentoring middle school girls, served as judge at several scientific conferences and career advisor to undergraduates at my Alma mater. I have been a tutor since I was an undergraduate. I tutored Chemistry, Math, Biology and Physics. A Little Bit About Me...

As an Honor roll student, a student on the Dean's list I was lucky to have graduated early. I taught six graders through opelia. I have also tutored a master's Student through her Statistics. Currently tutoring a student via online on her Senior Algebra for her Liberal Arts degree. I will hold a BA degree come december of 2010. Where I then plan to student teach and obtain a teaching certification.
I use all the main teaching tools. Both hands on and visually for those students who need different tools. I love to interact with children and adults helping them through their classes to better their future. I also enjoy having a hand in their future success. I truely believe that a great teacher is one who teaches for the greater growth of their pupils and personally I strive to help them succeed.
