I try to work at the student’s learning pace in an effort to allow the student time to comprehend and retain what is covered within the session. I am not interested in helping others learn what I know (and love) to find out later that I was "too fast" for them to use the information after the session. I am a recent graduate of East Tennessee State University. I have a degree in Elementary Education and a teaching license in Tennessee and South Carolina. I have worked in an after school program for 4 years with pre-school (3 years) to 6th grade. I was a substitute for 5 months for kindergarten through 12th grade. I'm energetic and like to find fun ways to teach children. I'm creative, artistic, and enthusiastic.
I have enjoyed working with children for a number of years. They are fun and truely like to learn. Watching a child actually discover what is being taught is absolutely amazing.
