I have worked with children for over ten years. I specialize in helping children who struggle with comprehending math and English. I understand that all children cannot learn in the same manner. As a tutor, I use several different curriculum materials to help students who do not learn with just paper and pencil alone. Math and English can be abstract to young students; and very difficult when one does not understand how to reach students. A Little Bit About Me...

After working in the Marketing/PR field for 5 years, I relocated to Puerto Rico to be with my husband. Not having a solid foundation of the language, I could not obtain a job in my previous field. It was at this time that I discovered the world of education. I began substitute teaching at the Department of Defense School and continued doing that for one year. We were then relocated to Savannah, GA and I was hired by a private school to teach 6th and 7th grade English, Literature and Social Studies.
