I have a background in physics (both theoretical and experimental). I spent 8 years at two different universities and earned 3 diplomas in physics (B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D.) all financed by scholarships. I spent two years teaching physics in Africa and also spent 2 other years working as a research scientist at a national laboratory in Europe. During my university years, I worked as a teaching assistant for student laboratories in physics and even did some one-to-one tutoring. All along, I admired my teachers and colleagues who always showed me something new to learn.

My teaching style varies depending on the area of math being taught. For individualized instruction I mainly use a questioning process to lead individual students to discover how to process the math problems. This has them involved with building the solutions to the various problems and helps reinforce what they already know. I then instruct on the areas they do not understand or struggle getting this helps focus my efforts on their needs.
