My language learning career began in middle school when I chose to study Spanish. having enjoyed the language so much, I continued all throughout high school and eventually chose to continue my Spanish learning in college. I chose to study Spanish and Secondary Education. during my undergraduate work, I was recommended for tutoring Spanish at the beginning and intermediate levels. I continued that work for my sophomore and junior years. During my time in college, I was fortunate enough to have the ability to study abroad for a semester in Granada, Spain. I hated science and math when I was in junior high and high school. When I asked my teachers questions, they didn't give me the answers I was looking for. Luckily, I got into a great university and found out, after taking a few core classes, that I actually love science. Once I really understood some of the key concepts, I found it to be fun and interesting. While I volunteered there I helped many of them with there homework as well as extra reading and writing to help improve those skills.
