My experience with helping others in math has been very enjoyable. Having worked at a university learning center as a tutor, I have helped students in all levels of math courses. My studies during college focused on specifically math where I have completed my bachelor's degree of science with a major in math. Having experienced a wide variety of math courses, I have found many approaches of ways to learn math material. These methods were applied when helping others to learn quickly. With a master’s degree and two bachelor degrees, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of positions in the education field. I was the first Wellness Coordinator hired in one northern school district, allowing me to relate with both students and teachers at a state and national level. In addition, I tutor ESL/ELL students as well as students preparing for required state and national based tests. I am currently in the process of transferring my teaching certificate from one state to another, while substitute teaching and tutoring students. With a wide range of experience in the teaching field, I am able to provide a learning environment to students with differing learning modalities.
