I double-majored in biology in chemistry in undergrad, so the field of science and medicine is my first love and my strength. I have also received a Masters of Public Health Degree in Epidemiology, and have since completed my 2nd year of medical school. I have always had a strong affinity for math and english as well. I have a published thesis paper that was constructed and presented as required for my masters curriculum. I earned my BA in Elementary Education from the University of Iowa in 2004.I have a total of seven years working in the classroom. I spent my first year out of college substituting and covering a maternity leave. The next two years were spent in a 4th grade classroom in Illinois.
