Shakespeare is one of my top subjects! I have studied Shakespeare in both a literary and theatrical sense. I have acted in several Shakespeare performance and spent much of my time in college studying Shakespeare. I can help with understanding the language, the verse and prose, as well as the themes of each piece (play, sonnet, etc).

I graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a B.A. in Theatre. I took the performance track but I also studied the technical side of theatre. I have experience in everything from directing to stage management, playwriting to design, build to running sound and lights. In the performance track I studied character and script analysis, acting techniques, movement, voice, audition techniques, play review, etc. I know how to take the script to performance and also how to write about what I have done or seen. Beyond theatre I am a riding instructor. I began as a volunteer and age eight. I was certified at sixteen and have been teaching my own group and private lesson since.
