I graduated from the University of Washington in 2008 with a dual degree in Accounting and Information Systems. In 2009, I sat for and passed all four section of the CPA examination. As a Magna Cum Laude graduate, I was extremely driven to excel and reach my potential. What strikes me most as I look back at my education is how much of an impact a teacher can have when they make their subject relevant to their students. When I am teaching I try to find out what motivates each student as a person, in addition to what is motivating them to take the class.
