I have worked with many young students. Reading, math, spelling... I find helping students very fun. Not only does it benefit them but me as well. I am very patient with people of all ages and I do feel that I have made an impact on many children's lives. I am currently a senior in High School but I am volunteering in my local church classes and volunteering for my local Elementary school as well. I have experience tutoring former classmates and some clients. I find that because of class sizes and lack of time, some students are not getting the proper instruction needed to succeed. The way public schools are set up they focus on excelency on state tests, and don't build up on needed stepping stones for the next years levels. I have succesfully tutored in Pre-Cal, Calculous, Algebra, Marine Biology, FAA Private Pilot written exam, Spanish, English, etc.

The student needs to be engaged to be able to reach their full potential. I am a certified Special Education teacher. I work in the NEISD district. I have been a redirection and behavior teacher, a self contained teacher, a resource teacher, and I have co-taught a class.
