I have earned two masters degrees, MBA (Master Business Administration) and MPA (Master Public Administration); which has given me a broader understanding in business. In addition, I was a adjunct instructor for year and mentor as well. I finished my BA with concentrations in management and accounting at Troy University in 2007,then worked for three years in an Accounting Office. I left there in January 2010 to pursue my Masters in Accounting. I gained valuable experience in reading, writing and the application of mathematical formulas through working in a fast paced accounting office. I supervised one to three employees, trained them and audited their work. I have never officially tutored a student, but I have trained employees on accounting principals and how to write to the IRS and clients, as well as helping out friends and fellow students. For example, some people may learn through discussion, while others may need to see pictures or presentations of the subject matter. I like to identify how the person learns first through questions, or by testing them with a simple task first to identify the method which seems to work best for them.
