I completed 10 weeks of student teaching where I took on all the responsibilities of a full time 7th grade English teacher. I believe in identifying where a student lies on the subject he/she is studying before going further. The advantage of one on one tutoring compared to classroom is that the lesson can be based around where the student’s strengths and weaknesses are rather than a blanket method. I also believe that the skills used in English can be best practiced and analyzed through writing rather than worksheets and tests. College Undergrad Looking to Tutor English Students

Not only was English my favorite subject as well as the one I was most proficient in in high school, it eventually became my major in college. I majored in Journalism at The University of New Hampshire, and while I have not yet received my Bachelor's of Arts from the institution I am a mere handful of credits away from earning it (9, to be exact), an accomplishment I am attempting to achieve by transferring credits over from The Community College of Rhode Island.
