I have lived in Germany for 17 years and have spoken German for 22 years. I attended kindergarten and school in Germany and received my 9th grade and 10th grade diploma in Germany. I moved to the US at the age of 17 and finished HS with a diploma at Missouri Military Academy. I served in the US Army on active duty for 3 years and got out FEB2012. Since then I have tutored my wife in receiving a German degree and have worked on a BS in Criminal Justice. I took the Army DLPT for German with a score of 2+/3.

German Family. Was in Germany/Austria/Switzerland numerous times and spoke fluent High German since 1973. I have a Bachelors Degree in Geoscience from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. German was mandatory for Geologists. I spend months in Germany in the '70s and did translation work for numerous organizations over the past 30 years. I tutor beginners in German.

As a graduate of the German High School System I became fluent in English and German, also because of my Russian upbringing I am an advanced level Russian speaker. Also because I have spent several years speaking both German and English in an academic setting I am versed in the technical aspects of both languages.
