My comments on tutoring SAT - Math : I am currently tutoring SAT math students. The challenge for the SAT is how to best answer the questions. Whether working from the answers or looking for other tricks to solve the problem. I am certified as a math teacher in the state of Ohio.

I stated my career as a 7th and 8th grade math teacher in Oberlin Ohio. I taught two years at Beachwood High School, teaching algebra, geometry, physics and calculus. I have loved teaching and still keep in touch with many of my former students. In fact, I have taught many of their children! I seem to end up helping students with more than just their homework. I have always had a talent for understanding that not everyone "gets it the first time." I had much trouble with science myself. When I was responsible for hiring teachers, I usually wasn't a fan of those with 4.0 averages. I was afraid they wouldn't have the patience to answer the same question 10 times!
