I haven't taught art before, but I have experience in it. I have had 3+ years in art courses in college. I have taken drama club as well as band and choir. I love art, and I was going to get a Bachelors Degree in Art history. I enjoy drawing and painting, and I love to sing. I was in my High Schools Drama Club as well as our Marching Band, and I fully support the arts. I believe art is a way for an individual to express themselves and branch out of their comfort zone.

I was a classroom teacher for 4 years at Rolling Hills Elementary School. I was a 5th grade teacher for 2 years and a 1st grade teacher for 2 years. I then moved to Bay County, Florida. I believe that the best way to learn is by repetition and not being afraid to make mistakes. This is especially important in language acquisition as many students are afraid of making pronunciation errors. I feel that some children need to be away from the stresses sometimes experienced at school in order to discover their academic gifts.
