As part of the requirement to be a member of Pi Delta Phi, the French National Honor Society at UCF, I was required to tutor French students of all levels on a regular basis. Learning a foreign language not only taught me French, but also gave me a new understanding of English. A Little Bit About Me...

Because of my experience in teaching my own children, I have discovered that no child is too young to learn. Often people will not consider an infant or toddler a "functioning human being" until the child can speak. This is so inaccurate! I taught one of my daughters to read at age four. My teaching style is to engage the student on a personal level through cheerful conversation and sharing of interests, then to assess learning styles, strengths, and challenges. Children perform well when expectations are complimentary to them, and when they are given the tools and nurture to accomplish their dreams.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am a graduate of York College of Pennsylvania. I obtained a BS in Chemistry and a minor in Math. I have always had a good understand of the sciences and mathematics. I have learned good written skills due to many research papers and laboratory reports. Throughout college I was a laboratory assistant for a physical chemistry lab and helped prepare the chemicals for the organic chemistry labs.
