Having completed my B.A. in Mathematics, with a minor in adolescent education, a Computer Science degree, and graduating with a 3.65 GPA, and a 4.0 in content has fueled my success. Combining that with presently finishing my Masters in Teaching with Technology, three years of teaching mathematics and 5 years of tutoring experience, in which I tutored several subjects I feel that I have a lot to add to the success of students. A Little Bit About Me...

In college, I in part supported myself by tutoring in math and organic chemistry. I have earned a BS in Biology and a Doctorate in Medicine (but I am retired from clinical practice). My education has given me expertise in the areas of biology, chemistry, math and anatomy. I have supplemented this knowlege with self study in grammar and creative writing. I have won writing contest and have published many letters to the editor. During the last 6 years I have tutored students seeking to obtain their GED, in all subject areas.

I love helping people learn chemistry. Chemistry is a subject that seems very hard because it is a dicipline. As a tutor I will help students to develop adequate study skills. I will go over several problems with them to make sure they understand the material well enough to solve problems independently.
While an undergraduate at a community college I earned three associates degrees, AS in Biology, AS in Chemistry, and an AS in Public Policy. I continued my undergraduate work at Utica College of Syracuse University and I earned a BS in Chemistry. I have strong background on Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. I have been in the chemistry-related field for a long time, either from my working experience or my education path (undergrad to PhD). I used to be a teaching assistant during the time I pursued a PhD. degree at Michigan Technological University, Houghton, MI. I make things simple and use things that they already know to build on to get them to understand the material. I like to teach the children pneumatic devices to help them remember the material1.
