I love teaching math and science to high school students up to early college levels. I have lots of experience and can be flexible in the way I teach based on the student style.
It’s important to be able to impart knowledge to the student smoothly and only to answer the asked questions. Too much information can cause a student to “overload”. This can make the student afraid to ask questions in the future or to think that the topic is so difficult. A good tutor will try to simplify things and brief the answers so he keeps the child interested to learn more.

The training sessions is from three to six hours of presenting materials, video, Power Point slides and group interactions that will assist the group in holding meetings and developing programs for the troops. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is participatory. I like to ask questions of the student and have them verbalize what they know. This gives me the opportunity to identify possible gaps in their knowledge and to fill in those gaps. I also try to relate covered material to historical events. For instance, when talking about the importance of analytical chemistry, I like to talk about the Marsh test which was developed in the 1830’s as a definitive reaction for arsenic poisoning. In like manner, I like to relate covered material to the personal experiences of the student. Illustrative examples that I have used are the importance of distillation to the alcoholic beverage and petroleum industries, along with how companies like McDonald’s would employ chemists skilled in flavors and fragrances (i.e., flavorists). Thereafter, I switched my major to Biology because I wanted to do Brain Research and to do such research one has to have an interdisciplinary background. A Little Bit About Me...

As an MBA graduate I have consistently sought to continually improve and manage as many aspects of life that are presented to me. While achieving my BA in Philosophy I stretched my focus into the areas of science and mathematics, given my strengths in those areas. My MBA in Management facilitated the integration of my math and science skills into a practical system of approach and practice. My Calculus skills come in handy while everyone else is doing summations, I find integrals much faster.
