I love working with all types of people, as helping people is a great passion of mine. I find it effective to teach by relating to something that the person I am teaching really enjoys. For example if they love basketball, I may try to relate the subject to it, to make it easier to learn. I have a lot of patience and usually have no problem helping someone. I ask a lot of questions to get the students thinking. I believe in teaching young people and the adults I have worked with to think critically fist. Then I work with them on being able to articulate and write their ideas down...subject matter follows naturally if they have the confidence and can just think for themselves not just spit back facts and what others want to hear. I graduated college in 1985 and then pursued many different jobs over the last 25 years. My degree in History/Political Science allowed me to be something of a jack-of-all trades in respect to my career. I have done both office work and factory work as well as customer service.
