I believe that if a student wants to learn a subject and is willing to put forth the effort, that student has the tools to succeed. Quite often they just need help in "how" to learn. There are a lot of subjects that are intimidating to students. I like to demystify and simplify the subject so that the student has a greater chance for success. I currently am a substitute teacher for all grades from 1st grade to high school. I started this avocation after spending 27 years in the Finance and Accounting areas. I have an MBA from the University of Kansas.
One of the gifts God has given me is the ability to help others reach their potential. When teaching, I am quite often able to explain difficult subjects to students in a way that is easier for them to understand.
