One way to inspire a student in these fields is to touch their sense of awe and amazement, another is to instill an appreciation for the usefulness and practicality of what is being taught. My passion is making mathematics accessible. After high school I was underwhelmed by mathematics. However as I took more math in college, I realized how much I had missed in high school.
