Credentialed Elementary Teacher Able to Tutor K-12

I use a comprehensive homeschool curriculum with progress monitoring reports, and my lessons are interactive and designed to meet the needs of each student. I try to have fun and make it relevant to their own experience, and I ensure that every student feels included and welcomed. In the classroom, my biggest strengths are levels of engagement and behavior management utilizing SEL methods.
I am a credentialed elementary teacher, but have experience tutoring K-12, both in person and virtually. I believe that an open dialogue is a teacher's most needed resource. Any child needs to feel as though he or she can express concerns or apprehensions without the fear of feeling embarrassed or stupid. I truly believe that there is no such thing as a stupid question. Teaching should, of course, relay necessary information, but it should also foster a student's drive to succeed, as well as the knowledge that any goal can be reached through perserverance.
