I have taught with lecture and with physical objects that I have created. My teaching style will vary with what the student needs. Some students need a manipulative to see the concept. Others need to hear or see it in another way. Adapting my style to fit their need is one of my strong points. I have been tutoring and teaching mathematics up to and including calculus while I was in college to the present day. most students that I have tutored I find to have a minor miss-perception of what they have failed to comprehend. To find these areas of confusion I need to have discussions with the students. These problems are usually easy to overcome once the student is aware of a different perspective.
