As I graduated from college with my California State Teaching Credential,I was able to teach 2nd grade for the Los Angeles City School District for three years. As a teacher trainer for the past 7 years, I have taught teachers research based instructional strategies to help struggling learners as well as applied these concepts in my own classroom. Although I primarily caught art during my 17 year career, I also was interested in ways to help students learn reading skills.
