Graphic Design is one of my top subjects! I have a Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design, even a minor in marketing to help shed light on that side of the trade. I have experience in 3 Graphic Design positions. I even have experience creating and branding my own business.

I spent 4 years at Bowling Green State University earning my BFA in Graphic Design and my Associates in Marketing. From there I have been working to build my own online business for about two years. Each year I see a growth in customers and I expand my product line with new hand crafted goods. I have worked for companies such as Dayton Business Journal, and iHeart Media. I have a great work ethic and I am not afraid to tell people how I feel, for I believe that is the only way we and others can grow.
I am very good at putting myself in other peoples shoes which makes my teaching style moldable. That is there is no one way to teach a student, you have to find out what speaks to them and teach them the way that they learn.

Simple Steps. The main key to successful learning.

To be honest I do not have any professional experience tutoring. However, throughout my entire educational career I have always been able to grasp material before my classmates and hence help them grasp the material themselves. I graduated from West Virginia University in 2008 with honors receiving my Bachelor's in Fine Arts degree specializing in Graphic Design. I moved to Columbus,Ohio two and a half years ago to work for a landscape architecture firm doing web design. In November of 2008 I started working for Safe Auto Insurance Company and now hold the title of Emerging Media and Design Coordinator. I handle all internal and external print and web design for the company. I have tutored interns as well as coworkers on how to use various design programs.
I am a visual person so I like to teach by example. I will usually explain how to do a process, show an example, and then ask the student to repeat. This not only helps them learn the necessary tools and skill, but also gives them the feeling of accomplishment when they can see the actual process live right in front of them.
