I have always loved helping people, especially in the way of education. I believe that everyone learns differently, and therefore strive for diversity in teaching. I will exhaust all possible strategies, incorporating meaning and practice with all dimensions of learning to bring not only an undertanding of content, but an appreciation and means of applying newly gained knowledge in real world situations.
Having completed my B.A. in Mathematics, with a minor in adolescent education, a Computer Science degree, and graduating with a 3.65 GPA, and a 4.0 in content has fueled my success. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe in mentoring. It does take a few times for the student (young and old) to understand that I cannot teach them anything. I can present information to them and attempt to inspire them to learn, but they are the ones who ultimately teach themselves. I very much enjoy helping them figure out the answers to their own problems. My motto: It is my job to help you not need me anymore!
I am a professional singer, actress and dancer who has taught throughout my 15 year career. I truly love teaching, especially in a one-on-one or very small group setting. Currently I teach private lessons in: piano, voice and acting. I also teach small-group: Piano, Acting, Choir, Learn to Read Music, Creative Movement, Pilates, Boot Camp, Kick Boxing. I also work with the local home school community as a 'tutor' for math and English.
